A successful Operations Manager will have the following:

 

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or 2 years related experience. At least 4 years of related experience and 2 years supervisory or management experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills 
  • Flexible, innovative and the ability to manage staff, responsibilities and priorities in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment 
  • Ability to effectively respond to and interact with staff at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time on a ladder, lift over 70 lbs at times, crawl into small spaces, and work in all climates.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays and evenings.

As the senior site leader, the Operations Manager is responsible for the overall success of the facility by directing employee activity to achieve performance goals. This position provides an exciting opportunity to independently manage a complex business and is the beginning of a career path to multi-site senior level leadership opportunities. This position builds strong team performance by managing selection and coaching in order to achieve company objectives and is responsible for evaluating and recommending improvements to ensure a high level of profitability and overall customer satisfaction.
