Full-Time VPK (Voluntary Pre-K) Lead Teacher

Candidates must have a Bachelors Degree in ECE, with the Pre-K Endorsement / License
Lead Teachers will be required to facilitate the daily program for children, including but not limited to the following:
o Lesson planning of daily programming and activities.
o Curriculum and child assessments.
o Ensure children are taught to read and write in the English language.
o Help children learn to think creatively, solve problems, and respect themselves and others.
Required to attend all staff training sessions, meetings and programs sponsored by the School and District.The teacher is responsible for implementing the Shelby County Schools curriculum for Pre-K.
