The Buffalo Niagara International Airport  has approximately 110 daily flights with nonstop service to 23 airports, the Buffalo Niagara International Airport plays an essential role in the development of business and tourism in the Buffalo Niagara region. Travel Hospitality Services operates food/beverage and retail stores throughout the airport, such as the Anchor Bar, Coffee Beanery, Queen City Kitchen, Which Wich, Lake Erie Grill, Villa, Checkers, Blue Zone Bar, JetSet Market and more to come 

The Opportunity

Supervisor

Delaware North is currently seeking an experienced Supervisor. Under the direction of management, Supervisor oversees the assigned units, along with the given staff in accordance with franchise standards, the Company’s GuestPath Universal Service Standards, and applicable unit Operational standards.

Essential Functions:

·        Following and upholding all NYS Health Codes and sanitation regulations.

·        Maintain proper implementation of sanitation procedures and maintain high sanitation standards at all work stations.

·        Will maintain positive customer relations by ensuring efficient, quality service and products.  Customer complaints are dealt with professionally and in a timely manner when a Manager is not present. 

·        Must ensure effective operation of unit at all times, including performing duties to maintain effectiveness as well as facilitating team effort by performing additional duties as needed or requested by other team members or as assigned by Management.

·        Ensure that maintenance of all equipment is completed when necessary.  Responsible for notifying Management for need of outside service. 

·        Waste sheets are used consistently and concerns are communicated to the Management team in regards to food cost and inventory. 

·        Loss prevention procedures are followed including locking the outdoor freezer, keeping the back exit doors closed, and strict adherence to the cash handling manual to prevent nest shortages. 

·        Establish and assign downtime tasks within the concept to maintain sanitation, customer service, and organizational standards.    

·        The execution of all branded concept promotions are to be thoroughly explained to the staff and customers. 

Required Experience

·   At least 1 year prior supervisory experience REQUIRED

·   At least 2 years of restaurants or service industry experience REQUIRED

·   Schedules vary, position may work nights, evening, weekends or any combination
