The Talent Strategist is responsible for executing a consistent, effective, and efficient recruiting strategy designed to identify top talent that are aligned to the organizational goals and outcomes. This would include identifying recruiting sources, developing talent pipelines, managing vendors, leading the recruitment efforts of the local recruitment teams. The Talent Strategist is expected to build upon a culture of employee engagement, retention, and set the example for all employees in the branches of servant leadership and personal commitment to the Whelan Values.
Performance Metrics: The Talent Strategist is expected to achieve the following metrics within Whelans performance-based business environment:
- Ongoing recruiting to ensure branch/region has employee candidates to staff to 110% level of branch and account staffing needs
- Achieve goal of 2.5% Non- Billed Overtime in all regions
- Improve candidate experience
- Lead recruitment teams utilizing workforce analytics
- 100% compliance to the Whelan Mandatory Requirements
- Lead by example of living up to the Whelan Values
The ideal candidate will have at leas t 2+ years of relevant experience. Candidates must demonstrate a stable work history and pass an extensive backgroun d screening which includes, but is not limited to, criminal background checks (local, state, and federal), drug test, aptitude tests, skills assessments, interviews, past employment verification, and a personality profile (behavioral assessment).
Candidates must meet the following educational requirements:
- A college degree is preferred although equivalent experience will be considered
