Engineering firm is seeking a Mechanical Designer for the MEP Group in our Raleigh, NC office. This exciting opportunity offers potential for career progression and professional growth. Typical projects involve completing Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection for our commercial clients.
Job Duties:- Some project management including scoping work, scheduling resources, and estimating cost
- Modeling & Analysis of all aspects of Mechanical systems
- Review of Mechanical systems designed by others, interface with code officials and contractors, working with architects and clients

Engineering degree preferred.

Minimum 3 years MEP design experience required
- Ability to work independently and communicate directly with client

Must have ability to generate big picture ideas and solutions at the beginning stage of projects.

Must have knowledge of MEP systems and codes.

Proficiency with AutoCAD/Revit

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to interpret engineering specifications and investigate problems
