This position requires: Essential: 10 years of corporate training experience, with growing responsibility. Preference will be given to candidates with sales training experience. Essential: A 4-year Engineering or Business Degree/diploma from reputable university or equivalent. Essentials: Fast learner, able to research independently and apply concepts to development of solutions and programs Essential: Self- motivated, independent, proactive, a team player and with strong organizational ability Asset: Knowledge of manufacturing, construction and/or public safety. Asset: Excellent presentation and communication skills How you will make a difference @ FARO: Lead the training of FAROs global sales team, including new hire training, position transfer training, and continuous improvement training. Development and management of the first-in-class global sales training program, based on FAROs selling model and Wilson Counsellor Sales Person. Utilize global company resources, including local regional sales trainers to successful execute the global sales training program Lead a team of local sales trainer, located strategically around the world. Work with global company resources in the development and management of training material. Develop and implement tools to evaluate the knowledge and talent of existing sales team members. Develop and implement a continuous improvement program to improve the knowledge and talent of existing sales team members. Execute global training of new policies and procedures as the new policies and procedures are developed. Roll out of new programs and products to the global sales team as new programs and products are developed and released. Initiate and lead projects related to sales training. Work as part of the sales team to generate ideas for sales opportunities, processes and systems. Provide strategic input to Manager.
