Unit Description

Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking an Executive Chef 1 for a long standing financial client in Brooklyn, OH. Sodexo manages a cafe providing breakfast and lunch, Monday through Friday, catering and a Starbucks at this location, to a building population of about 3200. The volulme of this unit is about $1.5MM and the Executive Chef will lead a team of about 12 Sodexo hourly employees.

The Executive Chef will focus on ensuring food quality while holding their team accountable for food and physical safety. The best qualified candidate will have strong leadership ability and prior experience managing a similar volume, preferably in a corporate dining environment.

In addition to offering a predominantly Monday through Friday , daytime schedule,this position also provides a competitive salary, great benefits

Provides culinary leadership within a small sized unit including menu planning, program execution and staff management & training. Works directly with internal and external clients managing the catering process from beginning through execution

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree

Basic Management Experience - 2 years

Basic Functional Experience 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
