GeneralStatementofDuties:
TheAssistantManager will possess advancedleadershipskillsandis responsibleforthecoordinationof allsolid organ transplant satellite clinic operations.InthisleadershiproletheManager assures smooth business operations, promotescollaborationamongallmembersoftheinterdisciplinaryteam,facilitates patientcaredeliveryandtimelinessofservice,rolemodelsandpromotesexcellentcustomerservice, preventsand/orresolvesconflictand,overall,providesforanoptimalpatientcareandworkenvironment.
EssentialJobFunctions:
1.Responsible for all satellite clinicoperations in close collaboration with Directors and Vice President ofTransplant.
2. Responsibleforprojects/processesthatareessentialtothesuccessofthe satellite clinics.Examples include charging processes,maintaining and reporting appropriate statisticaldata,time/attendance for staffing, and appropriate Quality Review to beintegrated into the overall transplant programs Quality Assurance andPerformance Improvement Plan (QAPI).
3. Assists in the development, review, and evaluation of staff performance.Communicate regularly to the staffing regarding policy changes orannouncements. Assists in the completion of the orientation checklist with allnew employees.
4. Works in close collaboration withtransplant administrative leadership, transplant physicians, outreachcoordinators, and business development staff to maintain and improve allreferral source relationships.
5. Demonstratessuccessfulconflictresolutioninatimelymannerwithpatients,families,physiciansandotherhealthcareteammembers.
6. Organize, maintain and order inventory of officesupplies and equipment. Prepare expense reports and invoice processing in atimely manner.
