Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is seeking a Wideband Satellite Communications SATCOM Subject Matter Expert (SME) with experience in formal engineering life-cycle processes to work in Orlando, Florida. NGMS is an industry leader in developing, integrating, and sustaining complex systems for the US Department of Defense. Our Team performs a variety of tasks leading to the successful integration, test, and deployment of complex DoD systems worldwide.

The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Satellite Communications, Networking, and Training Team, which includes the Wideband Training and Certification System (WTCS), Common Network Planning Software (CNPS), Wideband Remote Monitoring Sensor (WRMS), and Remote Monitoring and Control Equipment (RMCE) programs.
The applicant may work on the Wideband Satellite Communications (SATCOM) Trend Analysis and Anomaly Resolution System/WSOMS Mediated Interoperability Infrastructure (WSTARS/WMII).

The applicant will be working on design, development, and testing of all aspects of the systems development lifecycle. Applicant will perform a variety of duties in systems and software development and test. She/he will work from systems documents and specifications, and follow written and verbal instructions, conduct test and report data and results in prescribed formats.
This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.

This requisition may be filled at either a Level 3 or a Level 4

Basic Qualifications for Level 3:
US Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD Secret clearance
Minimum of 5 years experience with Bachelor s degree or 3 years experience with Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field. Years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Experience working within formal engineering & development processes for the development of complex systems
Basic Qualifications for Level 4:
US Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD Secret clearance
Minimum of 9 years experience with Bachelor s degree or 7 years experience with Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field. Years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
