Position Responsibilities:In this position, this person will be a key member of our benefits team. Reporting to the Director, Benefits, this individual will assist in administering the organization s employee benefit programs and immigration processes.
S/he will concentrate work efforts in the following areas:
- Assist in day-to day administration of global benefits to include: medical, dental, vision, as well as group life, disability, 401(k)/retirement programs and paid time off programs
- Ensure that benefits programs are administered in compliance to the established Human Resource policies, programs, and practices
- Serve as in-house resource for employees for questions regarding Blackboard s benefit programs
- Assist with annual open enrollment and wellness initiatives
- Administer benefits deduction payroll processing and verification
- Review and audit Blackboard s online benefits enrollment system ensuring data accuracy
- Work with the Assimilation team in conducting benefit orientation for all new hires
- Coordinate immigration activities and filings, working directly with external counsel, HR Business Partners, line managers and employees
- Bachelor s Degree with analytical coursework
- Excellent technical knowledge of benefits functional areas
- Demonstrated interest in benefits and/or general HR responsibilities
- Strong analytic, planning, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, particularly in the technology, services, or similar industry is strongly desired
- Ability and willingness to learn quickly
- Must possess a high level of maturity and composure in dealing with challenging and confidential situations
- Ability to work multi-task in a highly dynamic environment.
- High quality customer service skills are required
- Ability to be both an active and vibrant team member as well as an individual contributor
- Individual must be proficient in Microsoft Office
