Our client is looking for a MES Technical Engineer for a position in Cranbury, NJ.

- This position works within the infrastructure team responsible for the American region.
- Programs, configure, and test MES application.
- Able to provide guidance and recommendations for system design and to resolve technical issues.
- The MES Technical Engineer will perform activities including customer consulting, customer meetings, support, requirement specifications, design specifications, development, testing, and implementation.
- Lead additional MES implementation phases.
- Responsible for leading automation effort for MES projects and enhancements based on user demands and business requirements.
- Ensures continual integrity and stability of MES system in 24 x 7 operating environment through strong governance and best practices
- Must be able to implement product software expansions
- Lead change management introduced by applications changes
- Collaborate with Process Engineers on MES modeling
- Join forces with developers on reporting, statistical process control, and GUI changes
- Ensure adherence to corporate manufacturing standards
- Any additional tasks assigned by the IT Management as needed
- 3+ years of experience in a Microsoft SQL Server environment
- 3+ years of experience in C, Visual Basic, .NET
- 3+ years experience with MES application (CAMSTAR experience preferred)
- Experience with Object Oriented programming preferred
- Experience with Visual Studio preferred
- Must have experience in a manufacturing environment
- Semiconductor environment experience preferred
- ITIL knowledge is a plus
- Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering or Computer Science/Technology
