PrideStaff Hattiesburg is currently recruiting for an Edger in the Monticello, MS area
The edger is a Tronco three saw edger capable of splitting a flitch up to 39" wide into two cants or being run in a single piece mode as well and is laser equipped with joystick controls and an internet enabled touch screen, all PLC controlled. Operator should be familiar with cants and will be responsible for cutting flitches into cants for timber mats as well as an occasional board. Operator will be required to fill out a daily checklist and is responsible for a portion of daily maintenance and shall report directly to their supervisor with any issues or concerns.
- Must have 2 - 3 years experience
- Must have a current resume
- Must be able to stand for 8+ hours a day as assigned
