Silk Screen Printer job description:

Primary responsibility:

Silk Screen Printer is responsible for performing the following duties:

• Exposing and preparing screens
• Selecting, setting up and maintaining screens
• Selecting & mixing inks
• Keeping work areas clean
• Visual inspection of all printed work
• Ability to detect defects on finish product as well as in screens
• Troubleshooting printing problems
• Cleaning screens with solvent at the end of run when using different colors or on as needed basis
• Maintaining equipment
• Curing inks according to spec sheets
• Other duties as directed by the production supervisor

Secondary responsibility:

• Packing and Quality Control

• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision

• Basic math skills
• Attention to detail
• Problem solving skills

Must have at least 2 years experience screen printing on metal and plastic surfaces, this is not a clothing industry position.

Pay rate is - $13.50/hr

Monday through Friday - 6:00am to 2:30pm
