Our Vision for this Role

As a Logistics Analyst on the International Logistics Team you are a crucial part of our supply chain network, supporting the flow of goods from around the globe to our U.S. stores. You’ll build the tools and provide the critical analysis to ensure we get the right product, to the right place, at the right time. Working in a fast-paced retail business, no day will be the same!

You will be assigned a mix of core responsibilities as well as special projects which will optimize logistics operational performance, drive cost savings and build the necessary tools and capabilities to support our continued growth:

  • Build new reports, refine and automate existing reports.
  • Analyze the flow of containers through our network of third party providers and provide business recommendations.
  • Continuously monitor freight volume and balance between our U.S. ports of entry.
  • Work to enhance our supply chain efficiency and cut costs through systemic projects.
  • Implement new supply chain processes and improve current processes to positively impact freight flow.
  • Influence business partners and be the face of TJX.
  • Be a part of strategic special projects.

The Skills that will Make You Successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain preferred with 3-5 years’ of applicable experience.
  • Highly analytical approach to problem solving, leveraging their exceptional Microsoft Suite proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment; product moves quickly through our supply chain network, it is important to react quickly to incoming requests.
  • A self-director who can manage their own timelines and set priorities
  • Strong Critical Thinking and Problem Solving skills; no day is the same in off-price retail, the ability to assess situations quickly and provide alternate solutions is key to success.
  • Ability to influence others without authority and an agile learner.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to build and maintain relationships; you are the face of TJX to many of our external strategic partners.
  • Flexible and adaptable; priorities change frequently based on business demands, the ability to change direction quickly is critical.
  • High aptitude for manipulating and making inferences from data.
  • Ability to develop new tools and processes to support TJX global supply chain goals and objectives.
  • Build decision support / business tools, such as “what-if” models, to evaluate and recommend solutions to logistics challenges and network growth.
  • Report and analyze actual Global Logistics costs and perform routine variance analysis between planned and actual results.
  • Lead the development and analysis of volume forecasts and third party provider’s KPI (key performance indicator) compliance.
  • Work collaboratively to evaluate new opportunities for cost control and process improvement.
  • Leverage your critical thinking to provide adhoc Global Logistics cost analysis as required.
