Mathematica Policy Research, a nationally recognized social policy research company, will support the administration of SELweb, an online and emotional assessment to elementary school students in up to 14 schools in 6 different cities. In October 2017, these cities will participate in the Partnership for Social and Emotional Learning Initiative (PSELI). PSELI is being conducted to improve students’ social and emotional learning (SEL) skills.

On behalf of Mathematica Policy Research, Headway Workforce Solutions is seeking part time field staff to assist with survey administration on this study. Part-Time field staff will work as employees of Headway Workforce Solutions on behalf of Mathematica Policy Research.

As a Part-Time Field Staff, you should live within a 30-mile radius of Boston, MA. Training and project work will begin the first week of November and continue until about mid-December 2017.

We offer to you:

  • Work an average of 15 hours per week
  • $18.00/hour plus mileage reimbursement
  • Paid virtual training

For this study, Part-Time Field Staff will…

  • Assist with survey administration, potentially including:
    • Setting up lab for survey administration
    • Logging students into the web-based survey
    • Assisting with make-up assessments as necessary
  • May perform different activities at the schools they visit depending on the needs of the school.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a school setting and ability to interact with staff and students
  • Basic understand of computers
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Must be local to school district
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation

Ideal Candidates will:

  • Have school data collection or survey administration experience
  • Have a fully flexible and available schedule to work when the project needs dictate (Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.)
