About this job
Candidates will be performing various types of production work, such as:
Assembled switchboard cabinets
Forming metal frames for electric boxes
Read blue prints and schematics
Able to lift up to 20 lbs
Must be standing for 8 hours
Schneider manufacture electrical switchboards and boxes for commercial business and specific residential properties. Candidates must have at least 1 year in the manufacturing environment and be flexible for 1st or 2nd shift.
4. RESPONSIBILITY (Equipment or Process, Material or Product, Safety of Others, Work of Others)
* Assembles medium sized to very large parts.
* Takes raw material and builds the cabinetry unit structure.
* Performs basic to moderately complex troubleshooting, which may include quality issues, engineering issues or materials issues.
* Continuously lifts parts weighing up to 40 pounds, using alternative methods of lifting weight if beyond 40 pounds. (Includes overhead crane, lift devices, etc.)
* Utilizes a wide variety of hand tools, air tools, and measuring equipment.
* Responsible for own product quality, proper measuring techniques, and tool use and care.
* Evaluates and performs basic troubleshooting, and obtains support from supervision, and engineering as needed.
* Establishes and maintains a safe and healthful working environment in accordance with OSHA requirements.
