About this job

  • Clean up the hotels to standards in all areas.
  • Effectively work to accomplish assigned tasks each day including, but not limited to:
  • Vacuum and dust all floors of the hotel including the Spa building in a timely manner.
  • Clean all public restrooms (restaurant, pool floor hot tub, Banquet rooms) including the employee bathrooms.
  • Remove trash from restrooms and public areas.
  • Sweep and mop all fire escape stairwells.
  • High dust all light fixtures throughout the entire hotel.
  • Ensure all public spaces are presentable and clean at all times.
  • Move furniture around during deep cleaning.
  • Assist with cleaning of guest rooms and deep clean during the off season when needed.
  • Work in a safe manner to prevent injury to yourself, other staff members or our valued guests.
  • Communicate to Supervisor or Manager when recovering any and all lost and found items.
  • Watch for safety hazards and report them immediately to your Supervisor.
  • Follow general housekeeping procedures and policies without supervision, for example, but not limited to:
    • Keep public area cart organized.
    • Maintain tools appropriately.
    • Opening and closing check lists.
    • Follow proper procedure when filling spray bottles with cleaning chemicals.
    • Never mix chemicals.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of maid closets, guest laundry areas and corridors.
  • Follow instructions given at each morning meeting.
  • Support the Hotel Terra & Teton Mountain Lodge environmental commitments by having the knowledge, skills and values to be a leader in the global goal of greening the hospitality industry.
