Job Title Seasonal Sales
Department: Store Ops FLSA Status: Exempt
Overall Responsibility
Works directly with the Director of Store Operations to maximize store sales growth and profitability in assigned store location. Oversees all operations related to store functions, including management and development of staff and customer support. Manage budgets with the goal of producing a profitable store that offers an exceptional customer experience, award winning customer service and are a creative expression of the brand. Manages a large team of both staff depending on location.

  • Possess an understanding of The Land of Nod Brand and culture and how it relates to the store experience for both customers and employees
    Job Knowledge
    • Ability to implement operational changes and build positive support with staff
    • Develop staff by recognizing, mentoring and coaching talented individuals
    • Develop future store managers by developing strong assistant managers through delegation and coaching in leadership skills as well as all functions required of a store manager
    • Understand and manage the store business by effectively using available reporting, and developing specific actions directly related to business development and growth
    • Responsible to ensure that all associates are current and up to date with product
    knowledge, sales techniques and an understanding of the design trends by a commitment to working with the corporate trainer, training liaisons and other resources available in the company
