Specialty Cheese & Deli Team Leader Job Description: The Specialty Cheese & Deli Team Leader is responsible for the exceptional execution of guest service by the entire department. They are responsible for managing department inventory, margin, labor budgets, pricing integrity, and merchandising standards. They will ensure all Specialty Cheese and Deli Team Members receive proper training and supervision. The Team Leader will ensure the highest level of execution in regards to ordering, receiving, unloading, storage, rotation, merchandising and preparation of food. Qualifications: Ability to model and provide exceptional guest service. Must have a love of natural, organic and specialty cheeses and deli meats. Ability to lead by example and set clear expectations. Must have a minimum two years in a leadership position capacity or equivalent. Able to oversee and train all proper rotation and labeling, and food safety and sanitation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong organizational skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Ability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays. Stand and walk for up to 4 hours without a break. Ability to bend and stoop to grasp objects, climb ladders, lift loads, up to 50 lbs. unassisted, push and pull carts weighing up to 100 lbs. unassisted.
