The Grand Teton Lodge Company (GTLC) HR department is seeking a supervisor to join our year-round team in Grand Teton National Park. This position will own the successful operations of the HR office, with particular focus on standardizing HR operating procedures and maintaining compliance. The HR Supervisor will be the point person for on-boarding and off-boarding approximately 1,200 summer seasonal employees across our five managed properties throughout the Park. It's no small feat, but with tenacious organizational and problem solving skills, the right candidate will gain valuable high-volume experience, and enjoy working with a team dedicated to making a positive impact.

 

 

A general summary of the main areas of responsibility:

  • I9 and E-Verify compliance and internal auditing
  • Accurate data entry and reporting of employment information in PeopleSoft
  • Maintaining accurate electronic employee files
  • Planning and execution of all aspects of the onboarding and off-boarding process in collaboration with the HR team, Corporate office, and operational managers
  • Supervision and scheduling of seasonal/temporary HR employees
  • Maintaining internal calendars and assisting with events
  • Managing HR customer service needs from all employees
  • Employee relations intake and general support

The "must haves" for this position include:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Prior human resources experience (or an administrative role in an office setting)
  • High proficiency in Microsoft applications including Excel, Outlook, and Word (proficiency testing may be required)
  • Strong written and verbal English skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities under pressure
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Exceptional organizational and process management skills
  • Unquestionable diligence in maintaining confidentiality

 

We prefer that applicants have the following skills or experience, although they are not necessarily required to be considered for this role:

Familiarity with PeopleSoft HRIS data entry and reporting

Experience working for a National Park concessionaire

 

This is a highly desirable year-round position based out of Jackson Lake Lodge, with benefits and housing included. Current housing availability for this position is a private room with bathroom. Kitchen and laundry facilities are shared.
