Light Assembly 1st shift - Full-time / Part-time

Our client is looking for multiple associates to do Light Assembly on the 1st shift for temp to perm positions in Saddle Brook, NJ.

Hours are Monday - Friday from 8am - 4.30pm

Pay Rate - $8.44hr

Pending performance if converted after 90 days great benefits and Union membership

• The Light Assembly position is responsible for performing daily inspection on finished good products during and after production to meet master specifications.
• Candidates can be working in the Staples Department and/or the Assembly Department.
• Candidates will be constructing Staplers and Staple Guns
• Candidates will be packing staples into boxes
• In addition, work with Quality and Repair Department in inspecting and processing components that are rejected off the production lines
• Candidates will also be coordinating packing of products.
• Fold and prepare boxes for finished product to be packaged and distributed

Requirements:

• This position requires attention to detail; ability to follow guidelines ensuring the product quality is conforming and compliant with company standards.
• Ability to read, write and understand work instructions.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs on occasions
• Ability to manage inventory, detail orientated and strong organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills working with department teammates and all level Supervisors.
• Must be available to work Over Time as needed.
