Job Summary: Direct hire job openings with an expanding manufacturer in Grand Rapids, MI, for Racking and Packing Production Team Members. These direct hire opportunities offer great health benefits, holiday pay, vacation pay, and paid training. Racking and Packing Production duties include racking plastic parts onto metal racks that are hanging on a moving line, removing plastic parts from the metal racks after they have completed their production process and inspect for defects, and lift paint rack systems on and off an automated paint line. This is a high attention-to-detail position and candidates must be able to lift 5-20 lbs frequently throughout shift. Some positions involve lifting 15-50lbs frequently. Openings are available on 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Location: Grand Rapids SE

Position Type: Full-time, Direct Hire

Pay: $11.25+$0.25 shift premium per hour

Schedule: 2nd shift 1:50pm-10:00pm Monday-Friday and 3rd shift 9:50pm-6:00am Sunday-Thursday

Qualifications: Candidates with 2 or more years of steady work experience will be given preference. Previous manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required. Ability to see color, HS Diploma/GED, and ability to pass a background check are required. National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) preferred, but not required.
