About this job

Greet guests; take beverage orders from the cocktail servers or directly from guests. Complete side duties such as fold/stack cocktail napkins, stock swizzle sticks, straws, matches, line cocktail trays, stock glassware, restock supply cabinet, inspect cleanliness and condition of assigned station and service areas; rectify any deficiencies. Check identification of guests who appear to be under the age of 27 to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol. Enter or communicate orders into system through Bartender ensuring transmission is verified. Collect payment for drinks served and balance all receipts. Ensure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests, prepare inventory or purchase requisitions as needed to replenish supplies. Serve snacks or food items to guests seated at the bar where appropriate. Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus and promotions.Receives and maintains proper cash accountability in cash register for shift. Is able to checkout the register and prepare the shift report properly. Complete cash transactions logs accurately. Balance bank at end of shift. Be familiar with all casino services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately. Assist guests with general information upon request. Perform drop and count procedures in accordance with company regulations and departmental policies. Knows and follows safety guidelines and is alert to and reports potentially unsafe situations caused by employees and guests. Keeps register, counter, floors, shelves and fixtures clean and neat. Continually monitors personal and other employees' behavior for unsafe practices and takes corrective action when necessary. Assists managers in training other employees. Willingly helps other employees when needed. Upholds company standards. Notifies manager of positive and negative feedback from customers. Follows all security guidelines and procedures to prevent theft and vandalism of Company assets. Perform other job related duties as assigned.
