Assistant General Manager, Full Time or Part Time - Full-time / Part-time

The Minit Mart Store AGM reports to the Minit Mart Store GM and supports the GM in being accountable for total financial function of the retail store to maximize its profitability, and responsible for accurately accounting for sales receipts, payables, payroll etc. He/she develops all new associates by providing extensive, hands-on training as it relates to new employee orientation, safety, customer service & performance standards. Promotes employee recognition & makes recommendations for advancement. Ensures proper merchandise pricing, product mix, and establishing a solid working relationship with various vendors. As necessary, coaches, disciplines, and/or terminates according to company policy. Performs inventory counts, cash drawer audits, reconciliations, etc. Drives store sales through promotions, incentive contests, etc. Has direct involvement with hiring hourly cashiers for the store. Maintains compliance with the wage schedule/review schedule for hourly associates. Performs appraisals quarterly & annually. Conducts daily visual inspection of the site to ensure that it offers a pleasant & welcome appearance to our customers. Is flexible in working a variety of 1st & 2nd shifts.
