Automotive Contracts Clerk - Full-time / Part-time

We have a career opportunity for an experienced Contracts Clerk to join our thriving dealership team in the Auto Mall in Seaside, CA. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable, self-motivated and thrive in a fast paced environment. New and Used Contracts Clerk in a high volume dealership.Responsibilities Review all car deals and verify required documents are accurately completed Follow up with F & I in the event a document is missing or incorrect Verify vehicle cost and ensure correct amount is collected Monitor daily activity to ensure new and used contracts are posted Review dealer trade documents for accuracy and prepare payoff checks Assist with inventory and clean schedules Reconcile customer deposits, contracts in transit and vehicle receivable accounts Warranty payments and cancelation Issue variance checks and follow up on payments due from dealers Enter trade in registration information and prepare inventory jackets Perform various end-of-the-month checkups as required Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications High School diploma or Equivalent Prior automotive experience preferred Reynolds and Reynolds experience required DMV Experience Outgoing, people-oriented, and foster an environment of collaboration Proficient time management and organizational skills Exemplary communication and customer service skills Motivated, self-starter with a superior work ethic Team player with a positive attitude Pass background screening, pre-placement drug screening and must have an acceptable MVR (EEO)
