Certified Automotive Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Come and grow your career at a dealership that has been honored to receive many, many awards including the following: * Ford's President Award * General Motors' Dealer of Excellence * Chrysler's 5-Star Dealer Award * Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year * American Red Cross Community Award * New Hope Community Neighbor of Distinction * River Reporter's Readers' Choice WHAT WE OFFER: * 401k * Medical and Dental Insurance * FSA * Life Insurance and AD & D * Fully paid training and certification, as related to position * Highly competitive pay * Vacation, Sick and Personal Days RESPONSIBILITIES: * Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards * Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment * Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle systems * Communicates directly with the Service Advisor and provides an estimate of time needed for additional repairs * Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications * Remains current with manufacturer training * Follow company safety policies and procedures * Ensures that customers' cars are kept clean, and on original settings * Maintains all work areas in an orderly and clean manner * Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: * GM - certified any level, Chrysler - certified level 2 or higher * NYS Inspection license, a plus * ASE certifications preferred. * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Team player * Must have a valid driver s license * Math, reading, and computer skills * Willing to learn new technology, repair and service procedures * Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment * Must be able to diagnose customer concerns in a timely fashion
