Description

The Collections and Recovery trainer is responsible for improving competencies of individual collectors by designing and conducting training programs that improve overall collections performance. The training coordinator will manage, develop, coordinate and conduct collections training programs.

Training Coordinator responsibilities include communicating with managers to identify training needs and mapping out development plans for teams and individuals. Training Coordinators are responsible for managing, designing, developing, coordinating and conducting all training programs.

Our ideal candidate has experience with various training methods, including on-the-job coaching, mentorship programs and classroom learning. Experience with different projects, like management training and soft-skills development, is also essential.

  • Mapping out training plans and schedules, designing and developing training programs for the collections and recovery teams

  • Working with managers to identifying individual collector training needs by evaluating strengths and weaknesses

  • Choosing appropriate training methods per case (classroom, side-by-side, mentoring, etc)

  • Communicating available training opportunities to employees and providing necessary information

  • Developing and managing the groups share point site, in order to better support the team by identifying specific information to support our business while also assisting colleagues to self identify information needed to drive customer conversation and assist in account resolution

  • Qualifications

  • Excellent oral communications, counseling and persuasions skills.

  • An ability to speak in front of a group and deliver clear and precise directions

  • Knowledge of Fair debt Collections Practices

  • Flexible to adapt to changing business needs while maintaining a consistent positive attitude

  • Math Aptitude

  • Familiarity with the usage of a predictive dialer

  • Maintain composure under pressure

  • Ability to make Independent decisions and exercise sound judgment.

  • Organized work Habits

  • Ability to work within a production environment

  • 2+ years of experience in customer service role/ development capacity

  • Adheresprovided work schedule

  • Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • High Competencies in Microsoft office
  • Ability to create modules used in training
  • Ability to perform in a high paced environment
  • Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:

    Associates degree, Bachelor degree preferred

    Hours per Week: 40

    Work Schedule: 8PM-5 PM
