About this job
The CSR positions are our store s front-line contact with our customers. They are the public relations people who deal with our customers face to face every day. Ideally, every employee should be cross-trained to handle contact with customers, but our specialists are doing the vast majority of drop-off and pick-up transactions, phone answering, and so forth. A good attitude and the desire to interact with other people are the main attributes of a customer service rep. Skills can be taught, such as using a computer, but attitudes cannot. A candidate for the CSR position should exhibit the following abilities and behavioral characteristics: * Excellent listening skills * Excellent communications skills * Ability to easily relate to other people * Professional, conservative grooming habits * Ability to work with others as a team * Ability to handle constructive criticism * Ability to stay calm when faced with a difficult or irate customer
