Job Description FIBER TECHNICIAN SUMMARY: seeking experienced Low Voltage Fiber Technicians. Responsible for the installation of structured cabling systems including but not limited to Fiber Optic Cabling. The position also includes the termination, testing and troubleshooting of the structured cabling system.Candidates are encouraged to email resumes to ...@outsource.net asap as we have an immediate need for Fiber Technicians in Fort Worth***CANDIDATES MUST HAVE COMMERCIAL STRUCTURED CABLE EXPERIENCE***Fiber Skills Required:
- Experience dressing cable/ full build out in IDF and MDFs
- Experience working with pre terminated fiber trunks pulling, dressing, and plugging in MTP connectors
- Experience fiber using a Fluke tester
- Experience trouble shooting fiber using an OTDR
- Experience splicing fiber preferably ribbon splicing
- OSP experience is a plusCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
