Brakes and Service Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Position Purpose: To provide quality service to customers when performing brake repair/replacement and other preventative maintenance per manufacturer specifications. This position serves to enhance and expand Jiffy Lube services to include brake inspections, and other diagnosis and repair related services. It provides an important and critical service to the customers. Job Responsibilities: Perform brake inspections and other mechanical inspections to determine needs. Recommend repair/replacement based on findings of inspection. Requires research to look up and identify specifications for different vehicles Perform all necessary repairs/replacements for brake service and other maintenance/repair services as defined by JLI procedures. Communicate findings/results effectively to customers. Perform functions of Lube Technician. Other duties as requested or assigned Job Requirements/Competencies: Valid driver license preferred. Clean driving record from State preferred. Desired, but not required ASE certification or equivalent. 90 day Jiffy Lube technician certification completion after hiring. Complete Jiffy Lube Brake certification program.
