Warehouse Personnel - Forklift Experience - Full-time / Part-time

Job DescriptionSeconds & Surplus is hiring warehouse personnel for our Richardson location. We are a local retail building materials supplier and are open to the public. We sell items such as flooring (wood, laminate, and tile), granite, doors, tubs, cabinets and some smaller items such as door knobs, and faucets. Our location is a warehouse atmosphere and is not climate controlled, therefore in the summer it gets hot.Previous forklift experience is required to apply.The warehouse employees do the following task -- receiving, stocking, shipping, and loading of materials in customer's vehicles, must have previous experience driving a forklift, some janitorial items, building maintenance items, helping build displays, as well as other task determined by management. Extreme attention to detail is necessary. Must be able to lift 50lbs to 75lbs, be punctual and have a can do attitude.Safety is a must and we require all warehouse employees to wear back support braces and use additional safety equipment when necessary.This position has a starting pay of $11.00 per hour.This is a full time position working 40 hours per week and weekends are mandatory.Previous forklift experience is required to apply.After 60 days we offer several benefits such as medical, dental, vision and life insurance at group rates.
