Looking for a Senior Maintenance Technician for a company on the east side of Indianapolis!

Shifts available - 1st and 2nd shift openings

6AM-6PM OR 6PM-6AM

2-2-3 Schedule

Must Haves - 3 plus years experience
1. Hydraulic & Pneumatic experience
2. Electrical experience - 480 volt, 3 phase motors, VFD's
3. Ability to read schematics
4. Ability and experience to use fluke and exact meters. (Multimeter)
5. Candidates must have their own basic hand tools. Can bring tool boxes to shop.

Nice to Haves
1. Fabrication Experience - tig welding
2. Electrical Journeyman's Card

The primary responsibility of this position is to perform installs, maintenance, and repair machinery, electrical systems, and equipment in a food processing plant. Ensures all maintenance related projects and work are in compliance with standards set by FDA, OSHA, SQF, HAACP and any additional governing agencies by which we manage our business. Ensures production continuity by properly maintaining the reliability of all equipment. Ensures all maintenance staff follows GMP's, Safety, Food Safety, Operational and Company guideline/policies. Must have a sufficiently broad background including, but not limited to: packaging and processing equipment, maintenance systems, and equipment installation and start-ups. Plans and schedules all maintenance activities required to maintain the efficient and safe operation of all processing and packaging equipment. Completes work orders, repairs, and service work in a timely manner.
* Maintains records, orders new and replacement parts and supplies for new projects, using "MP2" maintenance software,
* Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunctions and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose the root cause of problem and repair of the machine.
* Responsible for following and enforcing procedures outlined in the Food Safety Plan and the Food Quality Plan and any other programs that support the SQF system and other 3rd party audits
* Is directly responsible for improving total up time performance through managing the preventative/predictive maintenance programs.
Spot welding as needed.
480 motors
Will work with labellers, wrappers, peelers, conveyors, and wet processing washers, and piece checking. This will also include total rebuilds to basic PM's. Will work with low voltage - 120,220,480 volt. single and 3 phase motors, gear boxes, and VFD's. Technicians will also assist with machine set up and operation
