Supervises a group of 5 to 7 restaurants
Deliver A+ outcomes in every store for sales growth, profit growth, and team turnover
Obtains results with integrity and teamwork
Spends at least 90% of time in restaurants
Daily: monitors e-mail and previous days business results for every restaurant including sales transactions, SOS, ICOS, labor, deletions, hires and turns ·
Visits every restaurant weekly for at least 4 hours.
Trains, coaches and develops RGM’s and restaurant management teams
Assesses restaurant staffing levels and supports RGM in improving retention and sourcing of staff
Uses and evaluates the effective training of restaurant teams with the Learning Zone system. Supports the RGM in ensuring all training tools are used to the fullest
Coaches RGM’s on performance to standards using formal “performance evaluation” tools and frequent, informal, coaching sessions
Coaches all managers and restaurant teams how to build sales through A+ operations, providing hands on teaching
Reviews restaurant schedules each week ·
Drives sales and profit growth over prior year at every restaurant
Establishes and maintains build-to guidelines for paper and drink inventory levels ·
Uses available tools including “Success routines” to manage ICOS, Labor and Controllables within standard for each restaurant
Builds the leadership capability of RGM’s and all other management at every restaurant. ·
Drives every restaurant team to operational and financial success, building sales through A+ operations and providing the tools to exceed financial objectives.
Achieves results by walking the talk; focusing on the business as an involved member of every store’s team, leading by example with positive energy, providing immediate and zealous feedback, offering positive support.
Area Coaches are expected to work 50-55 hours per week including peak periods.
Requirements:
3-4 years multi-unit supervisory experience in either a food service or retail environment, including Profit & Loss responsibility ·
Demonstrated track record of workplace achievement in the selection, coaching, development and leadership of managerial employees.
Proven ability to drive customer satisfaction, financial performance and employee satisfaction ·
Basic business math and accounting skills ·
Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, good oral/written communication skills
Strong analytical/decision-making skills and basic computer literacy .
