Store Manager
Position Summary
General Position Description: Manage store operations and are responsible for financial results. Develop, coach and train employees as they work side-by-side. Responsible for the quality of customer service and products inside the parlor.
Responsibilities:
- Maximizes bottom line by increasing sales and computing costs, this includes but is not restricted to:
- Daily, deposits, cash & sales
- Weekly inventory and ordering, buying
- Monthly inventory & Monthly food cost calculations
- Assisting in marketing activities
- Trains, develops, retains, and motivates employees, this includes:
- Interviewing
- Follow up of all training done in shop, which includes; completing training checklist, planning follow-up training and following up to insure all training is completed.
- Provide coaching and direction to the team to take action and achieve operational goals. Constantly review store environment and key business indicators to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of the parlor.
- Customer Service:
- Displays a customer first attitude by training and holding employees accountable for delivering excellent customer service.
- Demonstrates a calm demeanor during periods of high volume of unusual events and manages smooth transitions thereafter to keep parlor operations to standard and set a positive example for the team.
- Conducts monthly ESP on shop to track performance
- Manages cleaning checklist to insure all duties are being performed.
- Follows up to make sure daily shift and maintenance checklists are completed
- Ability to project labor and compose schedule as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Two or more years’ experience in an quick service environment.
- Ability to manage parlor operations independently
- Ability to manage effectively in a fast paced environment
- Basic computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Team building skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coach and mentor others
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
- Proven track record of reliability
- Organized and detailed oriented
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Competencies/Skills/Knowledge:
- Basic Microsoft Office knowledge.
- Customer service experience, with emphasis on interpersonal interactions.
