Summary of Job Duties
The Physical Therapist is a licensed professional who evaluates, treats, and establishes a plan of care for many patients in relation to geriatric, orthopedic, neurologic, pediatric, neonatal, wound care, and medical conditions. They provide Physical Therapy Services guided by physician orders and in accordance with established physical therapy standards and practices to patients who have impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease or other causes.
Qualifications & Requirements
Graduate from an accredited school of Physical Therapy; Master's or Doctorate Preferred
Holds a current and active license by the Board of Physical Therapy of California
Member of the American Physical Therapy Association (Preferred)
Must possess Current American Hearth Association BLS or American Red Cross Professional Rescuer Certification
