A Fluid Pump Operator is expected to assist the CT crew as directed by competent leadership. Must be able to perform heavy physical labor, work many hours out in the elements during rain, snow, wind, extreme heat and cold. Non-local candidates are welcomed to apply. Paid housing and travel for qualified applicants. Rotation Schedule: 28 days on/ 14 days off, Rotations start/end on a Wednesday Minimum Requirements: Physically fit, 21 years of age, possess valid Class A CDL, able to be away from home for multiple days at a time. Speak and write in English, capable of understanding and passing testing regarding safety requirements in the field. Basic math skills. Pass physical exam, drug test, criminal and MVR check. Know and conform to DOT regulations. Twelve (12) months experience as a Pump Operator on a CT Crew. Essential Functions of the Job: * Present self at appointed time and place ready and able to perform work as instructed by competent authority. * Operates and maintains either a Fluid Pump or an N 2 Unit without constant direct supervision. * Follow instructions for spotting equipment on location. * Ensure that all hi-pressure iron is banded with a current inspection date. * Rig-down equipment, safely and efficiently. * Perform pre/post job equipment inspections. Specifically, perform pre-trip vehicular inspections. * Complete DOT logs as required by regulation and training. * Keep workspaces (including vehicles) clean and free of safety hazards at all times. Observe all safety rules at all times. Knows how to use and always utilizes Personal Protective Equipment. * Takes instruction on how to operate tools and equipment utilized on the job and in the shop. Specifically learn to independently (without constant supervision) operate and maintain fluid pumps and nitrogen equipment. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, talk and hear. The employee is constantly required to use hands and fingers to feel, handle or operate objects, tools or controls: reach with hands and arms. Employee will regularly be required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and walk. Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works in outside weather conditions. Employee will be constantly exposed to wet/humid/hot weather or cold/wet/snow/sleet weather often to extremes. Hazardous materials are often present and may be handled by the employee, in accordance with previous training regarding such handling. The noise level on a job may be high enough to warrant ear plugs.
