The Lead Officer is responsible for daily security operations at an account and reports into the branch office Client Service Manager. The Lead Officer is an hourly position that includes manning a security post while also providing operational support for the account to include overseeing and submitting timesheets to the branch office, compliance, training and employee recognition. The Lead Officer is expected to build upon a culture of employee engagement and set the example for the employees at the assigned account and insure a personal commitment to the Whelan Values.

The Lead Officer is expected to achieve the following metrics within Whelan’s performance-based business environment:

• Assist the branch office in managing overtime at or below 2.5% at the account.
• Retention of the account by providing exceptional service.
• 100% compliance to the Whelan Mandatory Requirements
• Lead by example of living up to the Whelan Values

Qualifications

Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• At least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements
• Demonstrate a stable work history
• Pass an extensive background screening which includes, but is not limited to, criminal background checks (local, state and federal), drug test, aptitude tests, skills assessment, interviews, and personality profile (behavioral assessment)

Previous security contract services, hospitality, military, law enforcement or supervisory experience is desirable.

Education

Candidates must meet the following educational requirements:

• Possess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED)
