Job Overview:

Support the strategic direction for Interactive Media at Macy's Merchandising. Support the production of high quality digital content and platforms for delivery, including, web presence, campaign management and presentation services. Liaise between development, technology, creative and delivery resources, to ensure end-to-end projects are appropriately executed as planned. Performs other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions:

• Support the creation and maintenance of world class digital media, including, educational videos, websites, logos and signage.
• Support a digital asset management system.
• Partner with resource teams to effectively carry out project responsibilities and deliverables for all Interactive Media projects.
• Support the creation of clear documentation, including project plans, budgets, and scheduling.
• Support the coordination of internal and external project resources to consistently meet client deliverables on time and within budget.
• Actively contribute to team meetings regarding deliverables and scheduling.
• Partner with the project lead to gather all required project assets from client for delivery to internal resources.
• Support the coordination of regular site changes and updates.
• Maintain working files/records on all projects.
• Ensure the achievement of timelines, schedules and deadlines.
• Identify, communicate and propose resolution of any issues to appropriate team members to ensure project success.
• Maintain the highest-quality standards by performing quality control and testing on all client work.
• Maintain contemporary knowledge of interactive trends, and apply them proactively to meet client needs.
• Regular, dependable attendance & punctuality.

Decision Making:

• Identify potential data qualities risks, and take steps to preempt.
• Self-starter, ability to work effectively independently with minimal direction.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

• 3+ years experience with publishing high quality rich media and interactive web-based experiences(i.e. HTML5).
• Proven ability to publish and manage content in Content Management System(s).
• Heavy expertise in Final Cut Pro (or similar editing software), graphic and web design, Apple Keynote and Microsoft Office suite.

Communication Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Demonstrated ability to customize communication strategy to a given target audience.

Reasoning Ability:

• Strong negotiation, diplomacy and conflict resolution skills.

Other Skills:

• The ideal candidate follows the latest digital trends and has a deep understanding of emerging technologies and how they can be applied to the Macy's Merchandising audience in the digital space.

Work Hours:

• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.
