About this job

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
Responsible for leading sales and brand building product platforms throughout the entire product life cycle, from strategic approach, new product ideation, validation & testing, stakeholder sell-in, 360 promotional program development, execution, national launch and final analysis.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develop project charters outlining strategic intent of new product/platform development, including all necessary parameters and guardrails, tying back to high impact business/brand results.
2. Lead product/platform development through concept ideation and consumer validation.
3. Lead sell-in and approval of test/launch plan from Arby's Business Leadership team in close collaboration with multifunctional partners.
4. Lead calendar program development and execution for in market testing and national launches.
5. Collaborate with Arby's business analysis team and other cross-functional team members to analyze program performance and make recommendations on future program use / enhancements.
6. Help identify high priority new menu/product development & innovation opportunities that help achieve stated business objectives.
7. Lead cross-functional teams in both identifying new product opportunities and in delivering initiative excellence, including Culinary, Brand Marketing, Business Analysis, Consumer Insights, Finance, and Operations.
8. Develop competitive intelligence within assigned categories and projects; determine implications for Arby's, and recommend strategic and tactical responses.
9. Develop and present various product marketing briefs that reflect product development strategies and objectives, guiding collaborative ideation partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and various agencies as needed.
10. Lead innovation efforts ensuring broad reaching exploration to uncover differentiating and motivating big ideas.
 
EDUCATION QUALIFICATION:
Required Minimum: Bachelor's Degree
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing
 
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION:
Required Minimum: 5 years minimum brand marketing experience
Preferred: 7 years brand marketing experience in restaurant / food industry
