About this job

As a member of IMX Productions - Creative Services, the Business analyst is part of the business management team which oversees daily financial operations and general project management aimed to improve the organization. The Business Analyst is responsible for developing insights from data and process analysis and translating those insights into initiatives that drive business impact for IMX. Candidates will need to demonstrate strong teamwork skills, a sense of urgency and the ability to work in ambiguous situations. Additionally, the Business Analyst will need to be comfortable with preparing and reviewing financial spreadsheets and other reports in order to manage current business operations and future financial performance.

-Works with creative/production and account management teams to reconcile billable projects based on initial established budgets
-Performs expense and margin analysis to determine profitablity levels of projects
-Works as project lead for various projects, assembling cross-functional project team, managing meetings, tracking tasks and progress, resolving issues during project process to ensure timely implementation and performs project follow-up as required
-Produces monthly financial health summaries and holds periodic review meetings with leadership to establish overall business priorities
-Prepare, analyze and develop financial reports for long term planning and forecasting
-Analyzes existing processes, using industry standards and general team knowledge, identifying potentials for improvement and charting progress during improvement phase
-Prepare monthly reports and statistics to be presented to senior management
-Provide feedback to account teams on achieved project margins and provide recommendations based on post mortem project budget analysis
-Audits business transactions to track income and expenses and check for accuracy
-Prepare and manage client invoicing
-Audits all completed projects for billing accuracy
-Coordinates, prepares and supports ad hoc analysis as needed

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Liberal Arts/Engineering
Ability to gather and analyze data and develop business solutions based on these models
Knowledge of financial (P&L) statements
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent PC Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Strong Excel Programing, Visio
Retail or agency experience a plus
