About this job
Automation Personnel Services has immediate openings for Lift Truck Operators for an international sheet vinyl manufacturing company located in White, GA. The lift truck operator is responsible for the supply and transportation of vinyl rolls and a correct placing of finished goods. He/she is also in charge of preparing the orders to ensure the trucks are loading correctly.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
o Driving the lift truck
o Placing the finished vinyl rolls in the correct bins in the warehouse
o Supply and transportation of vinyl rolls to different machines
o Order picking
o Checking rolls for damage
o Responsible for cleanliness of the warehouse
o Strictly comply with safety rules
o Reporting to the warehouse manager
Requirements:
o All shifts currently available
o Must have a high school diploma or GED.
o Must have experience with driving a lift truck and experience handling big rolls of product (pole)
o Must be lift truck certified
o Must demonstrate basic knowledge of material, methods, tools and equipment
o Must demonstrate the ability to follow oral and written instructions
o Must demonstrate the ability to maintain proper attendance and punctuality standards
o Must demonstrate the ability to maintain order and cleanliness and accurate work
o Drug-screens and background checks are required.
Dress Code:
o Steel Toed Shoes/Boots
o Jeans, Short sleeve shirt
o Safety Glasses
o Safety Vest
o Ear plugs
Pay rate is $12.50 per hour based on experience.
