PrideStaff is adding to their Tempe Team! We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager - Sales Consultant to continue to develop our clientele in the Tempe, Scottsdale and Phoenix areas. We are looking for an energetic, goal-oriented individual with demonstrated success or propensity for selling, negotiating, influencing and problem-solving in a fast-paced business environment.

Business Development Manager - Sales Consultant

Job Responsibilities As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing new business and expanding our existing client base. In this role, you will make phone calls as well as in-person sales calls to generate orders from multiple industry clients. This individual must be able to live our Mission Statement when interacting with internal and external customers.

Additional responsibilities for the Business Development Manager will include:
  • Negotiating service rates and direct hire fees with clients
  • Building long-term business relationships with current and future clients
  • Planning and documenting all business development activities
  • Assist with recruiting and placement activities as necessary

    Job Requirements

    As a Business Development Manager, you must have a strong sales marketing or customer service background. We are looking for someone with high energy and a strong desire to succeed. We are willing to provide training to the right individual - must be goal oriented - able to handle rejections - comfortable with being held accountable to daily/weekly activity requirements.

    Additional Requirements for the Business Development Manager will include:
  • Sales, marketing or customer service experience
  • Strong time management and problem solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to change
  • Ability to be self motivated
  • Experience within the staffing or sales industry - is a plus but not required
