Hiring New Openings Manager - Concord Hospitality Corporate Offices

The New Openings Manager should have strong management, communication, and leadership skills. He/she should possess the ability to handle complex projects while maintaining quality, budget, and schedule timelines. This role will work with the Senior Project Manager to assure construction decisions and problem resolutions are performed quickly and accurately to drive the project to opening. This position will also coordinate with the operations team to ensure they have everything they need to be successful.

Key Responsibilities
Work with the Senior Development Manager and Senior Director of Procurement to monitor the activities of the contractors, vendors, furniture installers and others required to complete and open the projects.
Keep all parties informed on project progress, attend project meetings, and carry out decisions in a timely manner.
Insure that the project is constructed in accordance with the approved plans and specifications.
Insure all building permits and approvals for all municipal jurisdictions are obtained.
Coordinate and ensure success on all fire life safety inspections by local authorities and brands.
In conjunction with the Purchasing Agent – help coordinate the purchasing, storage and installation of all FF&E items and assure damage items are replaced.
Manage the final punch lists with the SPM to assure projects are 100% final.
This position is based on 100% travel. The position is located on the jobsites that are within months of opening.
Adheres to corporate policies and procedures.
Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious opening environment.

Requirements

Must have prior experience in Hotel Development / Openings
Experience working with timelines and brand standards
Job is 100% travel requiring candidate to live near major airport
Previous construction experience preferred
