Home Instead Senior Care® is looking for an energetic and motivated individual to join us in our mission to enhance the lives of aging adults and their families.  The RN Client Care Manager is a full time position, Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30. This role is pivotal to this business because he/she will receive new potential client inquiries, conduct care consults, and enroll clients to receive our services.  This individual must also be a licensed RN and will cover & train staff for nurse delegated tasks.  The RN Client Care Manager will also train CAREGiving staff in the areas of Home Health Aide (HHA), dementia, Alzheimers, Transfer Techniques, Safety, and others as they are deemed necessary for CEU credits. This person must thrive in a fast-paced environment, be able to motivate and inspire a team, as well as effectively respond to the changing needs of the seniors we serve. Must be very personable, dependable, and thorough.  Excellent computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office required. Responsibilities include accurate data entry in company database, answer incoming Client inquiry phone calls, along with taking calls from caregivers and senior clients.  RN degree required.  A bachelor's degree and two to four years of experience in the Home Care field is preferred.  Submit your resume and cover letter as an attachment.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Reflect the core values of Minneapolis Senior Services, Inc, (d.b.a. an independently owned and operated Home Instead Senior Care franchise)
  • Prepare Medication Lists (MARS)
  • Do medication set-ups
  • Consult with doctors, nurses, PT, OT, Hospice staff 
  • Take potential new client inquiries
  • Conduct Care Consults for potential new clients
  • Complete Contracts with new clients
  • Communicate staffing needs to Staffing Coordinator
  • Conduct QA visits for clients per Home Instead and State of Minnesota Standards
  • Provide leadership to CAREGivers who are working with clients in their homes under Client Care Managers supervision/recommendations.
  • Manage outcomes of department activities and direct changes that will drive achievement of operational goals.
  • Marketing activities with Referral Provider Network
  • Enter and maintain accurate client records in Clear Care
  • Answer incoming calls in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner
  • Maintain regular attendance at the office to execute job responsibilities
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes. 
  • Demonstrate open and effective communication with owner, colleagues, and CAREGivers
​​Secondary Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage critical numbers of the business (see Key Performance Indicator/Operations scorecard) and report them weekly to team members and monthly to the Home Instead Senior Care franchise owner. 
  • Develop and implement monthly accountability meetings with office manager and owner. 
  • Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively.
  • Must have the ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality of information and meet deadlines.
  • The ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal skills is essential as well as sound judgment and good decision-making.
  • Must demonstrate discretion, integrity and fair-mindedness consistent with company standards, practices, policies and procedures.
  • Must have the ability to organize and prioritize daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly work.
Educational / Experience Requirements:
  • Licensed RN 
  • College degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2 to 4 years of related business experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
