Job Description- Our Maintenance Technician is responsible for the support of production equipment, other facility assets. This Technician must be able to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, maintain and repair operating equipment during production and breakdowns. In addition, the Maintenance Technician will work with others to achieve plant business objectives of safety, productivity, customer service, quality, cost and environmental protection.- The primary expectations of the Technician in this role will include troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance. Our Technician is required to ensure equipment reliability; assist with root cause analysis to identify reasons for failures and breakdowns; review electrical and pneumatic schematics during troubleshooting, repair and project work; and will work closely with the operators to support production and transfer skills to Operation Technicians. This role will provide weekend or off - shift coverage for mechanical, electrical, and control systems.- Troubleshoots, repair and preventive maintenance (PM) as required to ensure equipment reliability- Troubleshoots production equipment:- Troubleshoots mechanical failures- Understand electrical; 460 VAC 3-phase and 110 VAC control sources as far as determining power- Understand Ohms law, voltage availability- Knowledge of controls and PLC troubleshooting- Assists Operations, Quality and Engineering teams with root cause analysis for 5 Why-s, Change management, Incident Management, and Non-Conformances to identify reasons for incident causes- Works with operators and support production, able to transfer skills to other technicians- Supports the daily operations of Planned Maintenance, Autonomous Maintenance, Corrective, Maintenance, and Preventive Maintenance, RequirementsQualifications Requirements:- Mid to high level break-fix & preventative maintenance experience required- Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience required- Experience with advanced PLC, and/or robotics, and CNC repair required- Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems - Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and perform repairs- Demonstrated ability to perform electronic, mechanical and hydraulic repairs used in electrical and mechanical maintenance technician work assignments- Basic Microsoft Office knowledge and/or Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) knowledge desired- Excellent verbal/written communication and customer service skills- Team player attitude that is a highly disciplined, problem-solver with a strong work ethic- Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate- High school graduate or equivalent- Able to lift and carry products and/or equipment of up to 40lb.HighlightsKelly is pleased to offer the following Employee Perks:-Kelly-sponsored Affordable Care Act healthcare coverage available for eligible employees -Group medical, prescription, vision, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance options that are available for purchase - and the coverage is portable*-Service bonus plan-Holiday pay plan-Weekly electronic pay options-Free online training campus available-Exclusive online employee community-Employee assistance program (EAP) available at no cost-Corporate discounts-Transportation spending accounts*Offered and administered by Leslie & Associates.
