Our team at Wally Labs, is looking for a customer-centric Product Analyst to join our small and effective team to support our highly-responsive, highly-scalable and highly-available products.

The Product Analyst develops and applies Product Management processes in the design/realization of new product offerings. This position works in concert with User Experience and Research on determining product usability to ensure the product developed meets the needs of the customer throughout the various stages of requirements, design, development, testing and release. This position is responsible for both product planning and product marketing; gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, roadmap and working closely with UX and engineering, to deliver winning products. This position also includes ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the company's overall strategy and goals, defining the product strategy and roadmap, delivering feature requirements or equivalent with prioritized features and corresponding justification, developing the business case, being an expert with respect to the competition, and ensuring that the business requirements are met.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Ensures business and functional requirements are documented accurately and completely for development and business purposes.
  • Fulfills ecommerce orders, inventory management and shipping.
  • Generates feature requirements based on competitive analysis and uses judgment to generate customer and competitive insights.
  • Partners closely with design and engineers to develop options to build the right product features.
  • Creates, evolves, and communicates feature specifications with broader stakeholders.
  • Applies technical, functional and customer knowledge to deliver feature specifications that are complete, comprehensible, technically sound, and implementable.
  • Applies 4D lifecycle to feature design in partnership with engineering, design and program management.
  • Uses the product/service regularly to gain a thorough understanding and discover potential improvements.
  • Produces demos and training for internal stakeholders and partners.
  • Produces materials for features that will be used by marketing to drive campaigns and adoption.
  • Ensures the right collaboration is happening within a 4D team and makes sure the right knowledge and expertise are involved.
Job Requirements:
  • 0 to 2 years related professional experience
  • Ability to work independently where work is reviewed, typically after the fact though guidance is available on an ongoing basis from Manager or more experienced professionals.
  • Ability to use professional concepts and resolve a variety of issues significant to the operations of the business.
  • Requires the knowledge and confidence to evaluate possible courses of conduct and propose solutions to moderately difficult business or operational challenges in the normal course of work.
  • Ability to exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results on matters of significance to the business.
  • Effectively writes requirements that are clear and readily understood.
  • Demonstrates solid communication skills, enthusiasm, problem solving, and ability to work effectively with a team.
