Responsible for building basic electro-mechanical systems and sub-assemblies.

· Performs basic mechanical assemblies & sub-assemblies and basic Electro/Mechanical integration of systems.

· Performs basic electrical panel construction and wiring.

· Operates hand and power tools to complete assemblies.

· Reads and interprets assembly prints and electrical schematics to ensure accuracy of work performed.

· Interacts with management and team members to encourage effective communication on production floor and foster a team environment.

· Performs standard testing and minor troubleshooting.

· Ensures quality standards are met throughout all steps of the assembly process.

· Operates, processes, and enters data for processing daily tasks using computer terminals.

· Works with 5S & Visual Controls.

Requirements:

· High School diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education a plus.

· 1 year experience in a Manufacturing environment or a combination of education and experience required

· Ability to read basic assembly prints and electrical schematics.

· Basic knowledge of cable routing, harness configuration, soldering, wiring & crimping standards.

· General knowledge of operating hand tools, portable power tools, and bench tools.

· Strong attention to detail, quality focused and a quick learner.

· Excellent communication skills.

1st shift (6am to 2:30pm) and 2nd shift (2:30pm to 10pm).

Basic computer skills and the ability to operate computer terminals and general software applications.
