Material Handler - Full-time / Part-time

The Material Handler will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of production stations in accordance with the companies’ policies and procedures. This position will also carry out shipping and receiving duties of the department including product loading, unloading, transfer, and storage.

Other Essential Job Functions:

• Works with the Shipping & Receiving Manager and the Production Manager
• Complete required production documentation and labeling
• Perform proper sampling procedure for all container sizes
• Safe, accurate and proper procedure to connect and disconnect from the station
• Unload materials and ensures storage in appropriate location
• Removes finished product from the production area
• Provides service for customer pick up orders
• Works in the production area and the packaging line

Requirements:

• HS Diploma or GED
• Basic understanding of mathematical functions
• Understanding of material handling
• Forklift experience a MUST!
• Ability to frequently lift up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to work hours other than those considered normal to meet seasonal demands
• Must have and maintain a valid drivers license and satisfactory driving record

Training on day shift from 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. After approximately 6 to 8 weeks the hours for the Material Handler will be 3:30 PM – Midnight.

Pays $15.14/hr. with a $0.50/hr. shift differential
