At Sunrise, our Human Resources Representative is responsible for assisting the Human Resources team in maintaining and organizing personnel files. In addition to supporting any HR initiatives as assigned.
RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain personnel files for CSO, regional and community positions (ED's and AED's). Copy files and locate requested files for CSO, communities and legal.
- Assists talent acquisition team -- tracking transfers, promotions and regional new hires for file purposes — 1-9's,(enter into Certiphi), tax paperwork, policies. Contacts individuals that send paper resumes and redirect them to the online application.
- Monitor and document HR calls to HR mailbox and forward to appropriate HR representatives.
- Create and maintain spread sheets for terminated personnel files and 1-9's. Prepare files for storage at Iron Mountain. Maintain files for severance and settlement paperwork. Create training files for BOC training.
- Answer and responds to unemployment verification calls, faxes and emails.
- Provides back-up coverage for other HR team members during their absences

Qualifications:
- High School degree/GED required; Associate degree preferred
- One (1) year experience preferred in a human resource generalist role
- 1-3 years of administrative expereince in Human Reources
- Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and the ability to facilitate small group presentations and trainings
- Competent in organizational, time management skills
- Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
- Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) with the ability to learn new applications
