Our San Francisco Signature Store is looking for a fierce and innovative marketing specialist to promote our most advanced retail environment and make it one of San Francisco's top destinations for an engaging experience. .
 
DESCRIPTION
The Specialist, Signature Store Marketing & Outreach will develop and drive execution of the Signature Store marketing strategy to deliver one of the most unique customer experiences in the country. Being in step with the unique vision of San Francisco, this team member will develop those unique experiences and find ways to connect with the City to get the word out to those who drive the pulse of San Francisco.
This role should be hyper-focused on developing bold and innovative marketing initiatives that differentiate the San Francisco Signature Store within the T-Mobile retail fleet as well as the local market.  Additionally, they will be directly responsible for reaching out into the local community and business environment to network, build the brand/awareness of the store & company, and drive store traffic through relationships, referrals and key signature events.
Having a collaborative spirit is key as this role partners with corporate, field, local and retail channel marketing teams and is accountable to drive strategy, planning, implementation, execution and reporting that is on time and on brand.  You get to develop ways to tie in with national campaigns and/or Un-carrier launches and coordinate those efforts within this phenomenal location. 
You should be customer focused, innovative, an out of the box thinker who is stellar at building relationships and has a high degree of influencing skills when delivering their ideas and strategies.
You should have great communication skills both written and verbal -able to articulate your ideas to a matrixed organization.
 
Additionally, to be successful in this role you must have a high degree of comfort gathering and analyzing market data, executing on in store experiences & events, coordinating and planning all aspects of of the marketing plans and a passion for being directly involved in the community in and around the store and staying connected to pulse of all of San Francisco.WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO WIN?
We are looking for an innovative experienced marketer, who is just as comfortable hunting for opportunities as they are at planning and executing them. You should have a passion for events creating them, attending them and being the Brains and Braun behind them. You will need to emerge yourself in the Un-carrier brand characteristics and embody that spirit in all that you plan and in every interaction, you have with your vendors, your team and the customers.
You should be comfortable customizing marketing tactics for driving customers in to this premier store location and capitalizing on the unique opportunities that come with being in the heart of such an innovative city.
You should live in the City or have lived in the City to have a pulse on the unique and challenging opportunity of a commuter meets tourist area. Know how to meld business district vs. tourist Hub and find reasons for customers to come and stay for our experiences.
You should be a marketing guru able to ideate and multitask with speed to execution and operate in a fast paced ever changing environment that is extremely invigorating.
You may at times serve as a spokesperson for the organization in public interactions, local community events, meetings, etc. that will further build the brand and encourage local partnerships.
The successful candidate should have the ability to drive out of the box thinking with a quick, test and learn approach. 
You will organize locally relevant events for the store as well as be the point person for execution of corporately planned events. 

HOW TO BE CONSIDERED.
  • A minimum 5 years experience leading a marketing function within a retail organization, creating marketing strategies and programs for high profile retail locations and/or team,
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization; organizational savvy and collaborative; ability to influence within a cross-functional team.

  • Ability to operate with remote workgroups
  • BS or MBA in Business with an emphasis in Marketing or Management

You will be connecting the dots between the community and the store. You will be connecting to the tech community and finding ways to leverage those groups within our store for forums, think tanks, and build your store to become a meeting place for up and coming start-ups. You will be developing innovative activities that would create the San Francisco store as THE DESTINATION for tourist and locals to come to experience the Un-carrier and be a place that keeps people wanting to come back over and over again You will be at the forefront of the team you serve helping to drive their success and building and maintaining the fun, creative and service oriented atmosphere that is unique to T-MobileHOW TO BE CONSIDERED.
